Workshop with Anna Ellery and Lynne Grieves
Nurture yourself with an afternoon of Yoga and Ayurveda. Stretch and strengthen your body. Re inspire your lifestyle through the wisdom of Ayurveda. Relax deeply in Yoga Nidra. Ayurveda teaches us that to maintain optimum health - we need to pay attention to daily and seasonal routines. Winter is a time when we are surrounded by coldness, dampness and heaviness.
This is the time of year when we need to focus on warmth, keeping ourselves protected from extreme temperatures, eating very well- light, warm and easy to digest foods, to nourish our bodies and strengthen our immune system. Simple dietary changes to match the season, simple daily routines to match the season, paying attention to our senses and mind, will help us stay healthy and strong through the Winter, ready for Spring.
Schedule:
2-3.15pm Asana Postures and Pranayama
3:15-4.15pm Ayurvedic Talk on Winter Self Care
4:15-4:45pm Tea Break
4:45-5:30pm Yoga Nidra and Meditation
