This short course is designed to be informative, practical and accessible to anyone who is interested in learning how to meditate - It will provide a clear foundation, a great starting point for absolute beginners but also a wonderful oppurtunity for more experienced practitioners to clarify their practice to continue the journey.

Beyond the world of endless meditation apps and podcasts, there's a great deal to be gained from sitting face to face (not via a live stream 🙂) with a teacher. Someone who can respond directly to where you're at; someone who can answer your questions and give support and guidance - helping you establish a joyful and enlivening meditation practice.

After the completion of this course, you will be able to comfortably join any of the meditation sessions offered at Dharma Circle, which includes both silent and guided practice.

This course, like all meditation at Dharma Circle, is offered in the spirit of Dana (donation). This system of payment helps makes the teachings more accessible - simply offer what feels appropriate for you.

Traditionally (in the Buddhist tradition), Dana is offered to a teacher as a way of supporting them personally, however, in the case of Dharma Circle, the money goes directly to the running cost (including a commercial lease) of the centre.
It is an aspiration to one day be able to run the centre entirely by Dana.

About the teacher: Samantha is an authorised Insight Meditation teacher (Buddhist) with almost 30 years of meditation experience to draw upon. Her approach is friendly and sometimes unconventional - offering simple ways into meditation and the Buddha Dharma without diluting or emptying out the depth.
