SELF CARE FOR SCREEN USERS

SELF CARE FOR SCREEN USERS

Sun 23 Feb 2-5pm

Bookings http://alifeinflow.as.me

Tix $65 // Early Bird $55 (book by 17 Jan)

Directed awareness and gentle movement exercises to help you:

- use screens more consciously and comfortably

- improve posture, reduce eye strain and neck pain, hand and arm tension, reduce fatigue.

- rejuvenate yourself daily with take home exercises

On average, adults spend about 11 hours a day staring at some kind of screen, whether that be a computer, phone, tablet, TV or another type of electronic device.

For many, the convenience of being able to "connect" online for work or pleasure anywhere, anytime comes at a cost:

- Chronic neck, shoulder and back pain

- Eye strain

- Mental fatigue

- Poor sleep

This workshop is suitable for all levels, those new to Feldenkrais as well as more experienced students.

Feldenkrais Method uses movement and real-time awareness of your own body sensations to guide you toward the positive changes you seek. It is based on decades of research in physics, neuroscience, biomechanics, learning theory, and human development to give you the means to help yourself.
